2019 Grammy Awards nominees

On Thursday, the Recording Academy unveiled the nominations for the 57th annual Grammy Awards. As of this year, the Grammy’s no longer require the nominees to be hand-picked by those who would ultimately choose the winners, but members of the Recording Academy will still decide the outcome.

This year marks the first time the nominees are revealed in this way: In previous years, the list was revealed only at a press conference to which only a few members of the media were invited.
