Police arrest man for trying to transfer child porn onto his phone

A 28-year-old man has been arrested in Toronto on child pornography charges. Justin Wilkins Grant, a car salesman, was charged with two counts of production of child pornography and two counts of possession of child pornography. According to the Toronto Star, Grant was observed transferring hundreds of child pornography images onto his cellphone. A neighbor had notified local police after noticing Grant has been accessing adult porn on his computer. An officer observed the growing volume of photos on his phone and a search warrant was obtained from the courts.

According to Grant’s former employer, the company at which he was working as a car salesman, Grant was released on bail by a court on Friday. The Star notes that Grant was not actively employed at the time of his arrest and was removed from his dealership’s website. It has not been immediately confirmed that Grant was the subject of a police investigation prior to his arrest.
